Launch of the Autumn-Winter Plan for Old People's Homes in the Algarve

As a continuation of the CENIE Project from which the Algarve Ative Ageing Reference website was born, which is part of RePEnSA - Portuguese Network for Active and Healthy Ageing, participated in the launch of the Autumn-Winter Plan for Elderly Homes, announced by the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security Ana Mendes Godinho, with the RecUPERa Project - Physical and mental rehabilitation of users and professionals in residential structures for the elderly, seeking to minimise the impacts of the COVID 19 pandemic. Through specialised and trained human resources, namely physiotherapists (or occupational therapists) and psychologists, the aim is to respond to 76,000 users and 47,000 employees in 18 districts of the country.
